This illustration is a view of my hometown, Dubuque, Iowa, from the Mississippi River. If you’re familiar with this lovely place, you will recognize many points of interest tucked into the steep bluffs and hillsides overlooking the river. The original piece, which was a large 38” x 50” one of a kind print, was made to benefit the Dubuque Museum of Art, and sold at auction in 2011.
This is a 12" x 18” archival print on 13" x 19" Hahnemühle German Etching archival paper. An archival print generally means the colors are rich and will not fade during your lifetime. Unless you hang it in direct sunlight, which I do not recommend.
