This image has resonated with people over the last few years as a sign of unity, humanity and strength. Juneteenth (June 19) marks the official day that all slaves were freed in the United States.

On June 19, 1860: 250,000 enslaved Black people in Texas were never informed of their freedom. That day, they were finally told they were free. Let's honor the resilience and strength of Black Americans, and continue to fight for justice and equality for all.

13 x 19 on Hahnemühle German etching paper. Signed with love by me.
